ବରିଷ୍ଠ ଆଇପିଏସଙ୍କ ଘରେ ସିବିଆଇ ରେଡ୍। 2009 ବ୍ୟାଚର ଜଣେ ବରିଷ୍ଠ IPS ଅଧିକାରୀ, ଯିଏ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ପଞ୍ଜାବର ରୋପର ରେଞ୍ଜରେ ଡିଆଇଜି ଭାବରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ,ତାଙ୍କ ଘରେ ରେଡ ପଡିଛି। ଜଣେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ୮ ଲକ୍ଷ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ଲକ୍ଷ ଟଙ୍କା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ମାମଲାରେ ଗିରଫ କରିଛି ସିବିଆଇ। ଅଧିକାରୀ ଜଣକ ଅଭିଯୋଗକାରୀଙ୍କଠାରୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ମାସିକ ବଟି ଚାହୁଁଥିଲେ ବୋଲି ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଭିଯୋଗ ହୋଇଛି। CBI has arrested a senior IPS officer in an alleged bribery and corruption case.
Sources say he repeatedly demanded a monthly “Bati” from a complainant — triggering a full-scale CBI raid at multiple locations.
